The 15th anniversary was dedicated to coach Warren Woods, who passed away this year. We gave his family a picture plaque, and we will honor him each year with an award to one of the kids who shows his character and attitude toward the game.
We also honored the sponsors with a shirt and our rendition of the Gold medal ceremony award given to each sponsor.
The valedictorians from Inkster High School, Shenece Chandler (Cental Mich University), and Robicaud High School, Jessica Oaks (Oakland University), received the laptops complements of My Alma Mater, Northwood University. Piston Announcer George Blaha gave his warm wishes to the campers.
I want to personally thank everyone for their participation; we could not have accomplished our goal without everyone's help!!!
